However, she probably didn&#8217;t see herself becoming an award-winning author!<\/p>\n<p>Book One of her <em>Sidelined<\/em> sports romance series, <em>The Draft<\/em>, was released in 2017. It won the USA Best Book Award and was a finalist in the National Indie Excellence Awards.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/bookwritingcoach.com.au\/wp-content\/uploads\/bianca-books.png\" alt=\"Sidelline trilogy books Bianca Williams award-winning author\" itemprop=\"image\" height=\"1125\" width=\"1500\" title=\"bianca books\" onerror=\"this.style.display='none'\"  \/>\n<h2>\n\t\tAbout working with Gail of editors4you, Bianca says:\n\t<\/h2>\n\t<p><em>Her encouragement, industry knowledge, inspiring emails, and hilarious comments kept me going &#8230;<\/em><\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I found editors4you in 2013 during an Instagram search for editors. I was an eager debut author with a completed first draft that, I soon found out, was in shambles.<\/p>\n<p>Gail, the sweetest person you would ever meet, told me in the kindest, yet brutally honest way, that we had a lot of work to do! Referring to Gail as just my editor doesn&#8217;t do her justice. She is my editor, my mentor, and writing coach. And while we dissected an 80,000-word rough draft, we developed a bond that only she could make me focus and &#8216;do the work&#8217; to put it back together again.<\/p>\n<p>It was hard and extremely challenging, but her encouragement, industry knowledge, inspiring emails, and hilarious comments kept me going.<\/p>\n<p>Gail is no longer just my editor; she is a true friend (who I still contract with to edit my work).
